Serving Others

When we join Jesus on His mission in the community and in the world, we have the chance to use our time and talents to serve others and share Christ's love.

Faith Mission

Volunteers at Faith Mission ColumbusVolunteers prepare and serve a meal, the first Thursday of every month to those who are homeless and/or underemployed at Faith Mission. We serve lunch on odd months and dinner on even months. Food is prepared at St. John on the first Wednesday of each month. Donating food items, helping prepare and helping serve areal part of this community outreach. As we share a warm meal with others, we can see how God is using us to be an extension of His love in our community. Contact Cathy Fernandez for more information. Prepares and delivers food every month.

LWML

The St. John Dublin Lutheran Women's Missionary League has an extensive outreach with a multifaceted approach serving the community with 6-specific service projects each year. The collection of Mites that are used to fund the LWML mission worldwide is just a small window of a greater network of these faithful women. Contact Beth Marth for more information. Meets every other month.
