Our parish care group at St. John Dublin is dedicated to care for people's emotional, physical and spiritual needs in our community and our congregation with practical resources in Christ's love.
We seek to foster health and growth.
The Stephen Ministry is one-to-one lay caring ministry by trained caregivers called Stephen Ministers to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting or walking through one of life's many transitions.
The ministry of friendship goes a long way in connecting those who are home-bound with their St. John family on a regular basis by visiting, calling, and sending greetings in the mail.
The Christian Care Team provides Christian care to others in our congregation by delivering meals to families' homes when needed, especially after a hospitalization. They can assist you if you're having a baby, experiencing a hard time in your family life, or needing care after you've been in the hospital.
After the loss of a loved one, the Bereavement Care Team facilitates the meal at church after the funeral, if the family wishes to have one.
A team of volunteer nurses serving our parish on the second Sunday of each month at 9:15 a.m. They offer blood pressure and glucose checks to our congregation. They are not able to provide medical treatment of any kind, but can alert recipients to concerns or trends they see with these routine check results.
